Almost everything on cardspuzzle is free and stays that way — every quantum experiment, every sacred study, both apps, all 26 courses, the archive, and 34 of the 35 games. One game is sold here. A licence is checked on your own machine, works offline, covers every device you own, and never expires.

    Samurai Sudoku

    Five sudoku grids overlapping at the corners, solved as one — the four outer puzzles share their centre squares with the fifth, so a digit placed in one constrains all of them. Every board is generated with a unique solution and checked against a reference solver before it ships, so the difficulty ratings and the optimal pars mean something. Notes, hints, undo, autosave and five languages, in a single file that runs offline once you have it. The other 34 games on the site, including plain Sudoku, are free to play and always will be.

    Tip the Builder

    Over and above whatever you have bought. cardspuzzle is one person building things and putting them up — no ads, no trackers beyond a visitor count, no investors to answer to. If something here saved you an afternoon or taught you a chapter and you want to say so with more than a licence, this is the place. Nothing extra is unlocked in return.

    Checkout is not connected yet

    The licence system is live — every page on the site checks for one — but no payment provider is wired in, so nothing here can be bought at this moment. Iceland is not a country where Stripe will open a merchant account, so checkout has to come from a merchant-of-record provider that pays out to an Icelandic bank or a PayPal account: Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, Payhip or Ko-fi are the realistic ones. They act as the legal seller, which also means they collect and remit VSK and EU VAT rather than leaving it here.

    To turn an item on, open catalog.json, find it under sections.store.entries, and set two fields:

    1. put the provider's checkout URL in buy
    2. change status from soon to live

    The sixteen single titles share one buyTemplate under store.singles, with {slug} standing in for the title. Then run python prerender.py && python intro.py && python seo.py and mirror catalog.json into catalog.js.

    Licences themselves are minted offline with licence/mint_licence.py and sent to the buyer as a JSON file. See licence/README.md.
